  1. y = (x+2)3
  2. y = 1/(x+3)
Answer

  1. 3(x+2)2
  2. -1/(x+3)2

Note:

dy/dx = dy/du * du/dx
Where
y = f(u)
u = g(x)
Chain rules is normally applied to a composite function.
